Creamy Tropical Fruit Juice with Flaxseed Oil

Makes approximately 56 ounces.

Ingredients:

¾ cup fresh cantaloupe, cubed

¾ cup fresh pineapple, cubed

1 ½ cups ripe bananas, sliced

1½ cups naturally sweetened orange juice

1½ cups naturally sweetened pineapple juice

¾ cups naturally sweetened carrot juice

1 tablespoon organic flaxseed oil with DHA

1½ cups vanilla Greek yogurt

2 cups ice


Instructions:

  1. Cube fresh cantaloupe and fresh pineapple into 1” cubes. Set aside.

  2. Slice bananas and add to cantaloupe/pineapple mixture.

  3. Pour orange, pineapple and carrot juices into a blender.

  4. Add the flaxseed oil and the fruit to the juice in the blender.

  5. Blend until smooth.

  6. Add the yogurt and blend until creamy.

  7. Add the ice and blend until creamy and smooth.

  8. Top each drink with whipped cream and garnish with a Tropical Fruit Kebob and a colorful straw.

    NOTE: this drink will not be thick – it is juice with a light, creamy consistency.


Tropical Fruit Kebob

Ingredients:

Freshly cubed pineapple

Freshly cubed cantaloupe

Freshly sliced banana


Instructions:

  1. Cut the sharp tip off of a small wooden skewer as a safety precaution when serving children.

  2. Cube pineapple and cantaloupe in 1” cubes.

  3. Slice a banana and then cut the slices in halves or quarters.

  4. Skewer fruit cubes, alternating fruit.
