Strawberry Carrot Smoothie with Flaxseed Oil
Makes approximately 56 ounces.
Ingredients:
1 cup organic naturally sweetened carrot juice
2 cups whole unsweetened frozen strawberries
1½ cups fresh organic strawberries
3 cups probiotic strawberry yogurt
1 ripe banana
2 tablespoons flaxseed oil
Instructions:
1. Pour the carrot juice into a blender.
2. Add the frozen strawberries and blend until thick.
3. Rinse the fresh strawberries, cut off the tops, dice the fruit and add them to the blender.
4. Peel the banana and add it to the blender
5. Add the yogurt. Blend.
6. Add the flaxseed oil and blend it well so that it’s evenly distributed throughout smoothie.
7. Serve each smoothie in a cup with a fresh strawberry garnish.
